Trans and QueerCommunity

Trans and QueerCommunity is a community organization founded to empower the lives of Black Trans people through community organizing, housing issues, education, mutual aid, and support for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Community-Led: Prioritizing the voices, experiences, and leadership of Black Trans individuals in all aspects of our work.
Intersectional: Addressing the interconnected nature of racism, transphobia, homophobia, and other forms of oppression.
Holistic: Providing comprehensive support services, including housing, education, mutual aid, and HIV/AIDS support.
Collaborative: Building partnerships with other organizations, advocates, and stakeholders to amplify our impact.

Providing affordable, safe, and welcoming housing options, rental assistance, and homeless outreach services for Black Trans individuals.

Providing essential items, health and wellness services, and transportation assistance to Black Trans individuals in need.

Community-Driven Initiatives
